THANK YOU to the participants, the voters, and the winner-banner makers for making lantis_lims such a great LIMS. I hope lantis encouraged iconmakers and provided them with constructive crit. I'm also pleased it encouraged the creation of sg1_lims and likethegun_lims. It feels a little sad for me to let go of a big part of my fannish life for the past two years (lantis was created on the 9th of Jan 2007).

That said, I obviously can't stay out of the game too long. If you've like to participate in another LIMS run by me, frontier_lims will be opening sometime soon. It's an all inclusive Star Trek LIMS.

Anyway, thanks again. shadowserenity signing off and turning off the lights.

Looking back at the challenges to put together this post, I realise the sheer amount of quality was awesome. I had several "ooh, I love that icon to death!" moments just now.

Do you have a favourite round? For some reason, I always think very fondly of Rounds 2 and 3 as beyond awesome in terms of the range of the participants. Also, there was a high participation and retainment ratio in those rounds.

Okay, I think we've waited long enough. I'm closing our final challenge. I profusely apologise to crystal_lily for making her wait so long. As quiddity_ did not submit her icons, crystal_lily is the automatic winner of the final round. That said, her icons are absolutely GORGEOUS. Here are her entries:
