This is the first time I have participated in Sadje’s SUNDAY POSER. “Do you feel images add to your post/poem/story or are just there for decoration?”
If you follow my blog the answer is probably obvious. I don’t think I have ever made a post without including an image or two. I mainly write poems or post recordings I have made. I use them to enhance my posts or hopefully help a reader enjoy/understand me better. When I bought my first computer disks of clip art were included. I also find images at Openclip.
I have created my own images with Inkscape. It is not easy but fun. I don’t make many anymore as eyes are weak.
Orchid I made with Inkscape.
Many of the songs I post are of me playing the ukulele.
To sum it up I like using images on my blog. Of course sometimes one can go a little overboard. 
A little postscript: Looking back I found I did post one other Sunday Poser way back when.
