And, also at Dreamwidth, I learnt of kaigou's panfandom fanfic survey,"Inspirations and Perceptions", which is already showing some interesting results and will only get better the more people take part.

So I finally found out that there are only three episodes so far.

In other words Ive already seen all the canon (me who was scrupulously avoiding the fandom for fear of spoliers ^^).

Where did I get the idea that the BBC made series of 13 episodes?

On the bright side, I can read fic* with a clear concience now and won't have to put up a fight for the TV on Saturday nights.
