Anyway, the point of this entry? Some fic recs for you! You've still got it, Merlin writers ♥

This tumblrfic by skellerbvvt (PG, possibly M/A pre-slash). I don't think it has a name. But it's about Merlin being a cyborg, so where can you go wrong, I ask you? The best news? Skeller is apparently writing more. Moooooore.

Hold On To What We Are by anonymous to be revealed at a later date (M/A, NC-17, ~11k). Four words: zombie apocalypse Christmas fic. If that doesn't float your boat, you can't be helped, I'm afraid. This is lovely writing right here, with the author cleverly balancing grim and domestic, isolation and camaraderie.

Ancient Methods of Roasting Chickens by fleete (PG-13, OT4, ~6k). Gah, this fic. Not ashamed to say I had happy tears in my eyes at end. This is everything you could want from a reincarnation fic. The relationships between the four are complex and hard and there are consequences in every life; long-lasting from their first lives, to immediate and dangerous in specific time periods they're reborn into. And the author's take on magic is just gorgeous. It's sparse, but every time it was mentioned, I got a little starry-eyed. Anyhoo, read this if you want your soul to sparkle.

I'm somewhat of a bottom!Arthur ~connoisseur~, so when katie_andrew asked for a list of my fave bottom!Arthur fics, I was on it like, well, Merlin on Arthur. I was just gonna shoot her an email but then a couple of my other twitter followers seconded the request and I was all, well, why not make an LJ post and spread the love like, well, Merlin spreads Arthur's legs.

Discussion! So, it's been a few months since Merlin ended and I know a lot of us are still sad, and it got me thinking a bit about Merlin and how he'd be feeling. So my question for you is, in canon, three months on (now almost four), where do you think Merlin is? Emotionally, physically. Basically, what's your Merlin headcanon for the months after Arthur dies?
