This project involved the demolition of a portion of the rear of a house to transform an underutilised space into an open-plan living area. Key elements included the installation of a 7-meter structural beam beneath the existing roofline to facilitate the expansion of the room, as well as the incorporation of a 4-meter double sliding door leading to a newly constructed Blackbutt deck. Additional features included internal VJ wall cladding, a timber pergola, and external rusticated weatherboard cladding, all contributing to the aesthetic and functional enhancement of the home.

Scope: Ironbark post and rail fence and Pergolan
This project involved the construction of 150 meters of ironbark post and rail fencing surrounding a garden, enhancing its structure while contributing to a charming country aesthetic. The fence features 200×200 dressed ironbark posts, securely concreted into the ground at strategically chosen locations with 2.4- meter centres and extending 1.2 meters above ground. The rails, constructed from 200x50x2400 dressed ironbark, were expertly mortised into the posts using a custom jig and securely fastened. Additionally, a beautifully designed pergola serves as a focal point within the garden, embodying the overall vision and enhancing the future potential of the space.

Scope: Replace a concrete alfresco with a Blackbutt Deck
Located in a beautiful tree lined street of Orange NSW, the Binnari Deck project successfully transformed an uninspiring outdoor area into a modern and inviting entertainment space. Initially a concrete alfresco, the client approached Kurrajong Projects with a vision to enhance the backyard into a fun, enjoyable, and relaxing environment. The chosen material, blackbutt decking, significantly elevated the aesthetic appeal of the space. With a stunning northern aspect, the deck beautifully showcases the rich grain and color of the blackbutt timber, creating a striking focal point and delivering the ideal outdoor living experience
