Apart from her work as founder and Creative Director of Krohn Design, Lisa teaches the practice, theory and history of design and innovation at USC Iovine and Young Academy.

She received a Master of Fine Arts in Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art and Art History from Brown University, also earning a Fulbright fellowship to Milan to work with architect and designer, Mario Bellini.Her designs for prosthetic personal digital objects have earned numerous design accolades including Grand Prize in the Forma Finlandia competition and the Daimler Chrysler Award for Innovation in Design.

Krohn’s work is in museums including the New York and San Francisco Museums of Modern Art and the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum
