Comments Oooold fic, written in September last year, before I got an LJ account - it was my second or third Star Trek fic. I’ve been putting off posting it for quite a long time. Ever since I saw The Search for Spock, I’ve been fascinated but very uncomfortable with the pon farr scene, and this is what come of it. Comments I started this one ages ago, and now I finally got sick of having it lying around, so here it is. Please be kind - I get the feeling that I have done what I could with this fic, and my self-confidence is not great this late in the term and the year.
On another note, I think it's interesting in TSFS how Uhura has such a tiny (albeit crucial) role, but we are never really told what happens between her transporting them to the Enterprise and Mount Seleya. This is the gap I wanted to explore.

Comments More TWOK angst (even if all of it isn't that, the TWOK angst is sort of overhanging). Of unknown reasons (apart from the fact that I can't think of anything else), the title's in Latin - it's what it says on the tin, really. I should also mention that I've decided to follow the version of Saavik's background story where she is raised by Sarek and Amanda, rather than by Spock.
