K.M. Allan is an identical twin, but not the evil one. She started her career penning beauty articles for a hairstyling website and now powers herself with chocolate and green tea while she writes books and blogs about writing.
Her debut novel, Blackbirch: The Beginning, was released in 2020, followed by book two, Blackbirch: The Dark Half, book three, Blackbirch: The Ritual, and the fourth and final book, Blackbirch: The Collector, in 2023. All four books have been a hit with readers, receiving multiple 4 and 5-star reviews, and reaching #1 or the top #5 on Amazon’s Hot New Release bestseller list.
In 2025, she released her first non-fiction book, Writing and Editing Checklists, which features writing and editing tips and over 50 usable checklists to help writers make the most of their manuscripts.
When K.M.’s not creating stories or checklists, she likes to read, binge-watch too much TV, spend time with family, and take more photos than she will ever humanly need.
