just logged in for the first time in probably about 8-9 years.
Just because quite a few things have changed since then, here's an update.
Hysterectomy a go go due to a uterus filled with 10 fist sized tumours- thankfully benign, and very thankful to be spayed. Left the horrible world of brokerage back in 2018 just before my father passed. Miss my Dad so much. Went to Japan for school and to learn brewing. Now part of an alumni of less than 130 people worldwide who have done the program on Sadogashima. Ended up with breast cancer-had the mastectomy and replacement..but we're not done yet. On Tamoxifen for the next 4 years..whee. Quit smoking cold turkey about 2 years ago. We lost Manju August 13th to Lymphoma and late stage kidney disease. Mochi went deaf shortly thereafter but is still with us..although at this moment she's at stage 3 kidneys, and her chronic pancreatitus has evolved to the steroid phase.
langsuiris still working in the VFX industry and I'm still putting together the processes for opening the brewery this year. Lots has changed like priorities , and when you're a single income household, we rarely club anymore. Had to walk away from some pretty toxic people we previously thought of as friends..guess with Covid, some true colours really came out, and we have zero tolerance for that shite.
