I’ve put a lot of thought into what surrounds me where I spend the greatest part of my life and would love to share it with you.
Here’s a photo of my office command center:

I have three 32″ HP LED monitors* on a 72″ Black Versa Center Desk with Dioder 4 Piece Light Strip Set* (set to purple) , Merc Stealth Steelseries Keyboard* (that glows purple), Delcom Quad Foot Switch (for my push to talk), Logitech G502* gaming mouse, purple Edifier H650 Hi-Fi On-Ear Headphones*, Blue Yeti USB Microphone* and very comfortable Realspace PRO Quantum Mesh Chair (bought January 2012 so it lasted over 14 years!).
The panorama wallpaper on the monitors is a photo I took of Los Lagos Reservoirs Number 3 near Nederland, Colorado https://maps.app.goo.gl/a16yumDkPKBYEZQ69.
I use the Chrome extension “Tabs Outliner” to manage the huge number of tabs I have open. Which usually is between 100-200. My all-time high was like 350 tabs. Yes I’m a super multitask-er.
My computer is plugged into a APC Back-UPS 1500VA UPS System*. Everything else (3 monitors, speakers w/sub, HP Officejet Pro 8025e, 6 external hard drives, purple glowy light strip & desk lamps) is plug into a 12 outlet power strip that is plugged into a Woods Outdoor 24-Hr Photoelectric Timer with Remote Control*. This way, at the end of the day I can turn of all of these vampire power suckers in one click. Its so cool I’m probably going to get this 5-Pack Outlet 2 Wireless Remote package* next for other things around the house and the Christmas lights.
With the Versa Center Desk, it is all adjustable so I have it lowered to 24″ from the standard 30″ to accommodate my body proportions (being 5’2″) better. With the chair lowered, my feet rest flat on the floor and don’t put unnecessary pressure on my thighs and with the adjustable arms, my arms are parallel to the desk. I’m at it 8+ hours a day and don’t have too much strain.
My computer specs:
The last computer that I bought in December of 2013 cost about $4,500 in parts. It was amazing. But tech goes down in value pretty quick. I keep putting off selling and building a new one till finally last fall. It only was worth $1000, but with that was able to build an even faster computer – which is now getting pretty old. It’s still running good but getting time to upgrade again.
