Kiro Credits

We want you to experience everything Kiro has to offer. To that end, we are provisioning Kiroween participants with the equivalent of the Kiro Pro+ tier for the duration of the submission period.

Please Note: For all participants, no additional usage benefits will be issued as part of Kiroween.

Never Paid for Kiro before? Upon creating a Kiro account, you’ll receive 500 bonus credits that expire in 30 days. Apply your coupon code (this will be shared via email upon registration to the hackathon) toward Kiro Pro+ during the Stripe checkout process for a free Kiro Pro+ subscription for November and an additional credit to cover your Pro+ charges for December.

Have you had a paid plan, either currently or previously? Existing users will be issued credits directly to their accounts to cover the value of the Kiro Pro+ plan for the duration of the hackathon submission period (Oct 31-Dec 5). Please note it may take up to 2-3 business days for any billing updates to reflect.

  • Credits will be applied via your Kiro user ID submitted in your Kiroween registration survey. If you did not fill in your Kiro user ID, please email the hackathon manager. Note this may result in a delay receiving benefits.
  • Instructions for finding your user ID can be found here.
    • Step 1: Locate your account details in the bottom left corner of the IDE. (Note that you must be using IDE version 0.4.3 or higher)
    • Step 2: Copy your user ID. It should look like the format d-9067c98495.94586458-7081-70c4-b9a1-xxxxxxxxxxxx
    • For any concerns on receiving credits to existing user accounts, please contact the hackathon manager or reach out in the Kiro Discord with your Kiro user ID.

Social Blitz Prize Submission Requirements

  • Enter by posting on social (X, LI, IG, or BlueSky) your favorite thing about Kiro with a description of how it changed the way you approached development.

  • To be considered, you must post during the submission period, tag @kirodotdev in your post, and use the hashtag #hookedonkiro

Blog Post Bonus Prize Submission Requirements

  • Publish a blog post on https://dev.to/kirodotdev about your project during the Submission Period.

    • Use the hashtag #kiro when posting on the dev.to space

  • Include a link to your published blog post on your Devpost Project submission form.

  • Blog posts can cover similar topics but should be materially different than the Devpost text description.
