No Show/Cancellation Policy
Appointments that result in a No Show or are canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice are subject to a $50.00 fee. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and occasionally require rescheduling. Please keep in mind that when we schedule your appointment, we reserve that time specifically for you. This allows us to deliver the highest quality of care to all our patients here at Killingly Eye Care.
If you need to reschedule an appointment, we kindly ask that you contact our office in advance. As part of our office policy, patients who miss two appointments without notice (“No Shows”) will be placed on a “Same Day” appointment list. This means future appointments cannot be scheduled in advance, and the patient will need to call the day of to check for availability.
Confirmation Policy
We kindly ask that you confirm your appointment at least three (3) business days prior to your appointment. Appointments that are not confirmed will be subject to cancellation. To confirm your scheduled appointment, please reply CONFIRM to the text messages sent by Killingly Eye Care to your mobile phone. Alternatively, you may call us at 860-779-1588 to confirm an appointment.
Contact Lens Evaluation After Exam Policy
If a patient opts out of Contact Lens Evaluation during the comprehensive exam date and is interested in the future; the patient will have three months (90 days) from the exam date to get Contact Lens Evaluation. Expiration of contact lens prescription will be from the examination date. Fees will apply at Contact Lens Evaluation. See our Contact Lens Evaluation Fitting Agreement: ![]()
Optical Agreement Policy
After working with the Optical department for a custom glasses order. Optical Staff will make the patient/customer aware of the glasses and lenses prices and the patient/customer will need to pay in full on the day the order is placed. Glasses are made specifically for a patient/customer and therefore cannot be refunded. Any adjustments and possible lenses remakes will be covered by what the patient initially paid for the glasses, but any upgrades to the initial order will be out of pocket.
Optical Pickup Policy
To maintain the quality of service and products Killingly Eye Care enforces a pickup policy for frames and lenses. If your eyewear is not picked up within 45 days of your given pickup date your order with be canceled. We thank you for your understanding and look forward to providing you with all your eyecare needs.

Directions to Our Office
FROM WILLIMANTIC: Take Rt. 6 West towards Danielson/Providence. Take a LEFT onto RT 12 north/ Main St. Danielson. Take your first right onto Franklin Street (Post office is on the corner). Follow Franklin Street, bearing to your left up the hill past St. James Church. At stop sign take a right and we are approximately 200 feet down on your right.
FROM NORWICH: Take Rat 395 North. Take Exit 92. Take your first LEFT (Killingly Ave) and go back under the highway. Follow Killingly Ave to the bottom of the hill. Take a LEFT onto Broad St. Follow Broad to stop sign, go straight across (ROAD NAME CHANGES to Green Hollow Rd). We are approximately 200 feet down on your right.
FROM PUTNAM AREA: Take RT. 395 South. Take Exit 92. Go straight across Westcott Rd at the light at the end of the exit ramp. Take your third RIGHT onto Killingly Ave. At the bottom of the hill take a left onto Broad St. Follow Broad to stop sign (ROAD NAME CHANGES to Green Hollow Rd). We are approximately 200ft down on your right.
FROM ASHFORD/EASTFORD AREA: Take RT 44 East, to RT 101 East. Take a RIGHT onto RT 12 South. (Traveler’s Shell gas station on corner). At intersection of Rt. 12 and Westcott Rd there will be a Bank America on your left, just past the bank bear to the LEFT of the town green onto Broad Street. After second stop sign the road changes its name to Green Hollow Rd. We are approximately 200 feet down on the right.
