I made a bunch (3) more freebies for a challenge over on DW, so I'll be posting them here over the next week or so~ Enjoy!

Real talk, it can be hard to find "basic" resources sometimes, especially for icons. So, I've compiled what I'd consider my "essential" brushes into one pack!

It's mostly borders, stripes, dot grid style patterns, and pinwheels/sunbursts - which are all 100x100 - but also includes some smaller hearts/stars/etc and large versions of the pinwheels. These are all things I originally made as I needed them, finally combined in one place for your convenience :D

The download includes both the .abr file (which was made in Photoshop 2020) and an image pack.

If you download these, I would love if you could comment! I'm not gonna track you down for credit, but you can include either setsuntamew or killiansicons in your resources post if you'd like. But tbh, I'd just like to see what you make with them :D

Also, if there are any other kinds of resources you'd like to see, lemme know~ Even if it's not something I can make myself, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

I don't know if I wanna call this "just a little bit of housekeeping" or "I finally fixed a post from 2011, because I wanted to end 2024 with a bang" but either way: freebie #01 is now reopened!!!!!

I actually lost the original PSD a month or so after making it - a long with quite a few other icons I made around the same time - due to massive hard drive failure, and tbh it was combination of that + working 80+ hour weeks in the hell of food service that took me away from making icons in general. My early 20s were rough, y'all! But now I'm back in action and I figured I'd try my hand at recreating some of what I'd lost.

I like how I was kinda like "yeah I made resources back in the 00s but I stopped doing that" because uhhhh...I dunno, I felt like making more? Here's a brand new set of icon bases, including - for the first time ever! - the .PSDs for them!! This should make them a lot more versatile~

Sooooo I've been slowly moving every single freebie I've ever made over to the InsaneJournal version of this account, mostly because it's a little friendlier to its users and also, having a truly fresh start can be kinda nice! Speaking of being incredibly nostalgic for these kinds of icons, here's something new!!! As in, I made it this afternoon, not in the mid-00s like everything else. I know the graphics scene - especially for this style of icon - is pretty dead, but I'm not dead yet, so here I am :D

Sooooo I've been incredibly nostalgic for all the sparkle graphics I made in high school and while I don't think there are many people who still have interest in them, I do. On that note, I'll be unlocking all old posts for requests.
