dwyld thought this deserved sharing- it's a population model of projected vampire feeding ratios and their effects on populations that I found when I was procrastinating doing research. Some ficcers may find the statistics come in handy for their writing. The question is, how much sparkle will be scattered about after Angel(us) and Spike get finished with Edward Cullen?

Author's note: This fic is set in an AU which has more of a nodding acquaintance with the fics of Peasant http://peasant.notanothersite.com/ than anything. The central conceits of this AU are: Angelus was never ensouled and remained with the family until present-day; Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel: the Series are television programmes which take considerable artistic licence with the exploits of the Fanged Four (and which are loathed by Angelus and the other older Aurelians), and Rupert is a vampire and Darla's brother, whose relationship with Angelus is as rocky as Giles's relationship with Angel.

After discarding several ideas as being too boring, twee, or just embarrassing to write for the general public, I think I finally came up with something for my Summer of Giles entry. It will be set in my slightly-skewed AU 'verse and will contain a drinking game.

LOST on Wednesday, February 13 at Lambert International Airport (St Louis, MO).

A well-worn, beloved and somewhat scruffy stuffed weasel, approximately 3.5 x 8 inches long. Brown plush fur with cream underbelly and buff colored felt ears and paws. Black bead eyes and pink thread nose.

This item was lost in the gate area of Southwest airlines at about 12:30 PM after disembarking from Southwest Flight 1798. A reward is offered for its safe return.
