Since I have time during the summer to flex my icon-making muscles (such as they are), I decided to embark on the scifi100 challenge. The goal? To make 100 unique icons of a subject of my choosing, as long as it's science fiction, in three months or less. I've decided to make Firefly icons (though I was tempted to do Syfy's Alice, until I decided that that wasn't really science-fiction-y enough). The first fifty have to follow themes, and the second fifty are artist's choice. Some of these icons are also from Serenity, which was suggested when I made my claim, because... why not? (:

Alternates are located at the bottom of the post and mostly involve pre-textured or black and white/colour versions of the other icons, which is why they aren't artist's choice icons instead.

Subject: Original Fiction
Title: It's Time We Saw A Miracle
Notes: I hit a writer's block a few weeks ago, which made me very sad since this is the second draft of this novel - so it's not like I haven't written it before, lol. In order to break through it, I made a mix! Each song has a contextualizing quote that may or not make it into the finished novel, but this mix doesn't really contain any spoilers (can you spoil an unpublished book? XD ). Featuring Rise Against, 30 Seconds to Mars, Bear McCreary, and more. 21 songs across two discs + a bonus track. Unfortunately, there were three .m4ps that I was unable to find on the second disc, so they are not included, which will be noted in the track listing. The total listening time of the uploaded songs is just over an hour and fifteen minutes.

Originally, I was going to try and recolour some other hairs after Pooklet released her new textures/colours, but I decided that first I'd update my previous sets, because I like consistency. Unfortunately, I don't know when any other hairs are going to get done thanks to what will probably be a busy schedule come fall, and current computer struggles that might result in my uninstalling the sims until I get a new computer.

I did these in a bit of a rush, so let me know if there are any issues with the textures, the binning, etc.

All of the textures, colours, and the swatches are credited to Pooklet; I used 'version three' of the textures on all hairs. The meshes are included in all of the .rars. Further credits can be found below the cut.

All natural hairs should be binned and enabled for elders rather than the grays. The grays should appear in the custom colour bins. Unused ages have been removed since there's no sense cluttering up the hair bins more than necessary. All hairs have been compressorized.
