Fun game with nice visuals. I’ve maxed everything out, but I can’t beat wave 35. I’ve tried twice, but once I get there, even using the Dragon’s Horn and other spells, the orcs overwhelm me, the dragon wipes out my units, and there’s no way to recover. While it’s fun, I don’t feel like replaying the first 20 waves: it takes too long.

Some notes:

  • The early game is really slow.
  • Without checkpoints, once you lose it kills the motivation to try again (reaching wave 30+ takes a long time, and with everything unlocked it’s basically just a waiting game).
  • A x2/x3 speed-up mode would be very helpful, especially to get back to higher waves quickly.
  • Given the high risk of losing an entire run and a lot of time, experimenting with different “builds” feels too risky, even though trying different squads would be fun.
  • I don’t really understand the purpose of the undead, they cost more and have worse stats.
  • The unit auto-spawn system is not very intuitive. It would be simpler to have something like “auto-spawn the unit in slot X.”
  • Abilities feel mostly useless, except for the Dragon’s Horn (for obvious mechanical reasons) and the charge. By the time you unlock Gold Rush you already have infinite gold, and arrows deal very little damage considering their (hidden) long cooldown.
  • Upgrade costs should be clearly visible.
  • Ability cooldowns should be visible.
  • It would be nice to have some more unique units (e.g. skeletons are weaker but spawn in groups of 3; greatsword skeletons could revive once or explode, etc.).
  • Knights should move faster.

What could be interesting:

  • More interaction with Orgs: right now they only generate PI and don’t really do much else besides producing more Karma.

  • The weakest part for me is the Net: managing cards feels clunky (especially when your hand keeps filling up and all those notifications pop up), and for about 70% of my run it was really slow and had almost no interaction.

  • It’d be nice to have something to spend money on in the late game, after the first few meta-reborns — at some point you end up with tons of cash that doesn’t really have a purpose anymore.

Really cool! I think I’ve completed everything — 100% story done, bought everything, beat all 15 servers, and pretty much maxed out every aspect. My research level was so high I could’ve done a meta-reborn before turning 40. I ended up playing it way more than I expected for an idle game (the timer says 24 hours). Awesome stuff, congrats! The only bug I found was with the last two motherboards — they never unlocked for me…

Anyway, really awesome — you actually inspired me to try making one myself. Thanks!
