Keyviz

Keyviz is a free and open-source app that allows you to visualize all your mouse movements and keyboard shortcuts in real time. The goal of this app is for your audience (if you're a streamer or something similar) to be able to see which keyboard shortcuts you're using and what mouse gestures you're making in real time.

Visualize all your shortcuts in an elegant way

How Keyviz works is very simple. When you have the app open in the background, any mouse movement you make or any keyboard shortcut you use will appear on the screen for a couple of seconds in a very elegant way. Best of all? You can decide where you want these instructions to appear.

Customize the app to your liking

By right-clicking on the app icon, which you will find in the taskbar, you can open Keyviz's Configuration Options. From here, you can choose where on the screen you want to display the keyboard shortcuts, how long you want them to remain on the screen, what animations you want them to have, what colors, etc. You will also be able to customize the program's interface.

My thoughts on Keyviz

Keyviz fulfills a very concrete and specific purpose, which is to help streamers (especially those making tutorials) show their viewers which keyboard shortcuts they're using. Which is not something that I do. That being said, the app feels very, very polished. Everything works perfectly.

The best and the worst of Keyviz

• What I liked most about Keyviz was, without a doubt, its incredible customization options. You will be able to choose exactly how you want to view all your keyboard shortcuts.

• What I like least about Keyviz is that, honestly, I don't really have a need for it. But I would like to, because it's an excellent app with lots of polish.

An ideal app for streamers

Download Keyviz if you regularly make video tutorials or often stream yourself drawing or developing. Thanks to this app, your audience won't have to constantly ask you which keys you're pressing or what your favorite shortcuts are.
