Welcome to my portfolio page! My name’s Kerrie, and I am an experienced pixel artist from Canada who has worked professionally in the video game industry for 7 years. I am currently working as a pixel artist on Fields of Mistria, and also run my own pixel art shop called Pixel Moon on the side! Some of my past clients have included: Twilio, Spin Master, Tanukii Studios, Resistance Studio, and Stegosoft Games.
My main art specializations include tilesets, character/sprite design, animation, portraits, icons, and colour palettes. I am adaptable and flexible to a number of pixel art styles and project needs, but mainly specialize in lower-res and clean pixel art styles. I’ve had both past and present clients, managers, and colleagues praise me for my versatility, speed, and quality of work.
My passion for games and game development means I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to develop new skills. From both paid work and personal projects, I’ve gained experience and skills in several other areas of game development. Some of these include: marketing, 2D level design, game design, writing, editing, and playtesting.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from York University, and enjoy incorporating narrative in my artwork through character design and environmental storytelling.
