Kemulator

Kemulator is a Java emulator for Windows operating systems that allows you to run some of the most popular apps and video games from the golden age of Java. We're talking about classics such as Diamond Rush, Bounce Tales, Wolfenstein RPG and Real Football, among many others. All can be perfectly emulated and enjoyed on modern computers.

A versatile and easy-to-use-emulator

You don't need to install or configure the BIOS to run Kemulator. All you have to do is unzip the compressed file in a folder and double-click on the .exe file. From the Midlet tab, you'll be able to load any .jar file, which is the format of all Java games and apps. Simply choose the game you want to play and, in a matter of seconds, it will start running. The controls vary with each game since some games let you use the mouse and others only let you use the keyboard.

One of the most interesting parts of Kemulator is that you can change the model of the mobile device you want to emulate. The emulator normally comes with the Ericsson K800 selected by default, but you can choose from many other models from many different manufacturers. You'll also be able to manually customize the screen resolution and adjust the size however you like. All these options can be found under the View tab, in the Options section.

Configure the games to your liking

In addition to the game controls, can be configured with the keyboard or even with a gamepad, Kemulator has a series of commands for carrying out very useful actions. From the Tool tab, you can increase or decrease the speed of the game, which is very useful for certain old games whose default speed was very slow. You can also pause games, and you can even slightly alter their appearance by changing the interpolation system.

Download Kemulator and emulate some of the funnest video games from the golden age of Java. Many of these games can also be found freely in the Internet Archive, so you can download them directly in .jar format and simply save them in your Java games folder.
