Since orientation I've been dead set ready to go off to USF and start my new life there. I'm very anxious, ready and excited yet pretty worried and scared that I won't do well. I've got a lot of my things that I need for my dorm room. My parents are being surprisingly amazing. I can go out somewhere and they won't call me a million times wondering where I am. They are doing quite well with this college thing, I think. With me being the only child. I move in 15 days. Two weeks. When I think of it like that, I get that worried feeling, but somehow I know everything is going to work out. My room mates-- all seven of them!- are all really nice and I honestly can't wait to meet all of them. It's like I'm anxious to leave but I want to take everyone that I love and care about with me... and at the same time I don't??
I'm just ready to move in! If I were moving in tomorrow I wouldn't have a problem with that in any way. I have my friends at home who care about me, so I don't need to worry about them forgetting about me. I know who my true friends are. And they are all I care about, honestly.
I'm kind of ready for the school aspect of college, but I'm worried that I won't do well. I know it's a lot harder than high school and I just want to do well. I wish I knew what major I wanted but I can't seem to decide on something. I just hope that doesn't bring me down.
My summer has been pretty average. Instead of spending all my time at home, doing nothing, I spend it at Albertsons working all the time. But I really need to save up money for when I'm in Tampa so I guess it's just something I'll have to deal with. And not to mention everyone else is working so no one has time anymore. :( Thankfully, Julie isn't working at MSA anymore, so I can actually see her before I leave. She gets to stay her ten more days than I do...
( Work ramblings...Collapse )So I got Julie and I tickets to Rascal Flatts/Taylor Swift! It's going to be awesome. :) I can't wait to go. It's her early birthday present since she couldn't afford to go and I knew she really wanted to.
Well, I'm going to lay around some more and then go to work from 5-11.
