Keep It Local Mac is a local hub created to help people easily discover and support locally owned businesses, local nonprofits, and local events in and around McMinnville.
We connect locals who want to support local with the restaurants, shops, services, and experiences that make our community special — by giving those businesses, nonprofits, and events visibility through our website, social media, and community-driven features.

How It Works:

Locals use Keep It Local Mac to discover and support locally owned businesses in the McMinnville area.

Businesses gain visibility through a dedicated profile on our website and ongoing features across our social media and community channels. We currently have over 6,000 followers on Facebook and almost 5,000 followers on Instagram.

When you join Keep It Local Mac, your business becomes part of a growing local hub designed to help you get seen, shared, and supported by the community.

A personalized listing featuring your logo, business description, location, and direct links to your website and social media. -
Monthly social media post feature
Each member receives one dedicated post per month on our social media platforms highlighting what you do. This can be a custom feature or a repost of your own content — including events, announcements, accomplishments, or promotions. -
Ongoing story visibility
When you tag Keep It Local Mac in your posts or stories, we do our best to reshare and support you through our growing social media stories. -
Special feature opportunities
Members are rotated into featured placements on our website homepage on a weekly basis. Each homepage feature is paired with a social media post to help increase visibility. Members also have the opportunity to submit a guest blog, which is featured on our homepage for two weeks. In addition, members may submit upcoming events to be included on our local events calendar. We’re continually expanding new feature opportunities, including e-newsletters and other community-focused content shared across our website and social platforms. -
Growing exposure opportunities
We’re always working on new ways to feature our members, including video content, reels, and additional community spotlights as the platform continues to grow.
Membership Pricing:
For Locally Owned Businesses: Free for your first two months, then $10/month after the trial period.
After your free two months, you’ll be invoiced and can choose from monthly, bi-annual, or annual subscription options.
For local non-profits: Membership is free.
Please message us for details on how to sign up as a nonprofit.
* Membership can be canceled at any time. We kindly ask for one month’s notice prior to your next billing cycle so we can wrap up any scheduled features and keep everything running smoothly.
Qualifications to Be Listed:
To ensure Keep It Local Mac stays truly local and community-focused, businesses must meet the following criteria:

Be located in McMinnville or surrounding areas (Yamhill County or just outside of it).
Businesses located in the Dundee/Newberg area are welcome to join Keep It Local Mac, but we also offer a dedicated platform for those communities through our sister company, Keep It Local Newberg. -
Be locally owned and operated.
Larger companies and franchises are welcome as long as they are locally owned, operate within Yamhill County, and demonstrate active involvement in the local community. While our focus is on small businesses, we recognize that locally owned industry professionals — such as independent contractors, realtors, lenders, insurance agents, etc. — may operate under larger brand names. -
Provide accurate and up-to-date business information.
Listings should reflect current offerings, locations, and contact details to ensure a positive experience for locals using the platform. -
Maintain a positive local presence.
Businesses should operate ethically and remain in good standing within the community. -
