Directed by the heavily hyped (and deservedly so) graphic designer/motionographer So-Me and featuring cameos from Kanye West, DJ Premier (scratching over a freaking HOUSE record NO LESS!), Santigold, Pharrell, Chromeo (catch P-Thugg on the vocoder), ?uest Love, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig, Todd Terry, Yela Wolf, and Ryan Leslie, this video is EASILY my favorite video of the year. Both the song & the video are amazing tributes to the greatest city in the world & perfectly captures the craze, the madness, the fun, the grime, the glam, the rawness, and the adventurous spirit of New York Fucking City!
