It never ceases that decade appropriate fashions repeat themselves. I’ve seen hippie flares show up twice in my lifetime, once back in the 7th grade when I would rock my Jnco jeans and now again – when I feel like the ultra cool Penny Lane in Almost Famous. I find that whether I’m channeling Penny Lane or Lisbeth Salander, it’s popular films that often have a guiding factor in these trends.
There’s no doubt that this year, “Gatsby” will be on everyones lips. After getting lost in the dream world of 2011’s, The Artist, and now The Great Gatsby later this year, lady-like trends with glamourous touches will be updated for the new millennium.
