Our Story
Founded in 2012, KBSS is a business that was created in the Pilbara to provide high quality support services to the Mining and Energy Sectors which includes high quality and cost-effective engineering, fabrication, coatings and maintenance services for critical infrastructure and assets.
Since our inception we have contributed over $250m in wages to the local economies and invested millions in plant and equipment that ensures we can provide pathways of opportunity for the traditional owners and residents of the region.

Community
Founded in The Pilbara and Committed to The Pilbara.
Here at KBSS we support the communities where we operate and where our people live and work.
We encourage and provide assistance to community and sporting organisations, schools, charities, shows and events.
Our people give their time and make personal contributions in volunteer roles and through charities. We support education, medical services, Indigenous initiatives, and a range of charities through funding, donations, help in kind and encouragement of involvement by employees.

Indigenous Participation

From the outset KBSS has always recognised Indigenous people as being the original custodians of their lands, and we acknowledge and respect the importance of local customs and practices in the preservation of their communities and culture.
KBSS has successfully worked in partnership with numerous Aboriginal businesses and landowner groups to ensure there was always pathways of opportunity provided to those wanting to pursue same.
We are proud to have provided traineeships and apprenticeships for over 50 people from different Aboriginal groups in the region and we work intentionally with our clients to ensure we’re maximising opportunities for Indigenous participation and engagement on individual projects.
