Why I am blogging

So, I’ve posted a few posts on this new blog now. 

Some of you may wonder why I even started a brand new blog instead of just continuing posting to my old one. 

Or why I ever started a blog in the first place. 

When I started blogging, I didn’t know how much I would enjoy it. But it did seem like a funny hobby to try, so I decided to try it. And I loved it!

So I continue blogging, because I enjoy it so much!

What is the most fun about it? Probably that I can write in my own “voice” and connect with people. 

But why did I switch blogs?

I’m pretty sure I’ve posted about this before. Basically my old blog I started in high school. I had a lot of fun with it. But after I started thinking about college I started thinking about what I would do with my blog then. I wanted to keep blogging but continuing with that blog didn’t seem right for a new step in life. 

So I thought about it more and eventually this blog was born! I wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted to do with it in college, but I’m starting to get some ideas! I am so excited for the future and what is in store.

A new step, a new blog!

Hello to all those reading this! Whoever you may be!

My name is Katy. I am a senior in High school and will soon go to college.

I used to have a blog called”Untainted and Odd” that I ran for several months. However, I realized that the name I picked for the old blog was not very timeless and would soon be outdated. I decided to start a new blog, which is this blog!

I blogged anonymously before, but now I am using my real (first) name. It’s Katy. I said that already. I’m Katy everybody.

Okay, so I suppose I should continue by explaining why I started a blog in the first place.

My first blog, back when people called me Owlivia, was really just a relief where I would dump my thoughts and ramble on about nonsense.

I have a different direction for this blog though. Yes, I will tell random stories on here and such, and post about different things I have learned.

What I really hope to post about however is ideas. My ideas. And… your ideas.

To change lives, to change the world, however big or small they may be.

The comments are open on the about page, and I have a contact page so that you can send me ideas.

I may post your idea on the page (With a name you provide, can be an alias and a link to your blog if you wish to provide it.)

Once I post an idea, the comments are open on that idea for you to suggest ways to improve it and develop it.

This is a way for people to connect, and form ideas. The world needs more big ideas so let’s get out there and develop them!
