My favorite time of the year is autumn. I absolutely love when the leaves on the trees begin to change. It’s still a little early for fall colors to be popping here in the Midwest but it’s coming…. For today’s prompt “Letter A” for September Colors and Letters, Autumn colors came to mind.

Although the prompt is cherry red, the butterfly is the real star for me in this photo. Butterflies hold a special place in my heart and this one landed in my photo just when I needed it most.
