Longette Lite

Continuing the new Longette poetry writing form, this Lite collaboration with Jessica Perini and Catherin J Pascal Dunk was created on the theme of goddesses. Each stanza is an acrostic name. Published on International Women’s Day. You can read the poem on Catherin’s blogsite: “Gaia…” and if you feel inspired, create your own Longette Lite and submit to the blogsite!

Here To There

My contribution to From Here To There: 101 Poems on African Diasporic Migration by Africa Migration Report is out now!

This important anthology conceived by mastermind, Ambrose Musiyiwa, contains “The Isthmus That Splits Us” and “Perspectives (Home From Home)” which I am very proud to have been included.

In fact, the “Isthmus” poem has been slightly modified from my own poetry book, “You-me-verse-all Hueman”.

Au Revoir

We say farewell to Austur magazine, closing on its fifth issue. It has achieved so much in its short run of two years. The final issue can be purchased online in digital or print format. This issue also features one of my poems, “Season’s Shift” to match the theme of Fire & Ice.

War & Peace

TDW Publishing finally release their much-anticipated, “Kurukshetra: Between War and Peace” collection of poetry and articles where I donated two poems (“Karmic Consequence 1 & 2”) and an exclusive short article, “Pāṇḍavas and Kauravas”.

This publication has great relevance for the world today with humanity’s inability to keep conflicts at bay and a desire for peaceful living – one that resonates with my writing interests, such that those poems appear in my own poetry book, “You-me-verse-all Hueman“.

Austur’s Editor

Austur magazine’s fourth issue on the theme of ‘Freedom’ contains poetry, essays and activity elements. For this issue, I became poetry editor; responsible for selecting the final list from all poetry submissions. And there are certainly unique gems! As staff member, my poem, “s t r g h t n d l n s” appears in this issue, which can be purchased online.

Open Door Closed

In the final issue of Open Door Magazine, which has been running since lockdown but is sadly ending, I am so pleased to not only have a new poem published in that issue, but also an author feature section containing page excerpts from my debut poetry book!

The book is entitled: “Sojourn: Transcending Seasons” and is available to purchase now via Amazon worldwide! It contains over 90 poems, three guest poets, artwork throughout, and promises to be unique in the poetry world!
