Our Purpose

Welcome to the Karsh Tikkun Olam Social Service Center (also known as Karsh West), an extension of the Karsh Family Social Service Center in Koreatown. Karsh’s mission, to repair the world by integrating meaningful volunteer opportunities and Jewish values, now has a home on the west side of Los Angeles at the Resnick Family Campus of Wilshire Boulevard Temple in Brentwood.

The Karsh Tikkun Olam Social Service Center is located on the 3rd floor of the Resnick Family Campus at 11960 W Sunset Blvd.

Our Values

Karsh West is deeply committed to community, innovation, accessibility, and respect for the individual. Our work at Karsh West will extend the volunteer network of the Karsh Center on the west side, supporting Karsh’s four program pillars: Child and Parent Well-Being, Community Services, Food and Nutrition Security, and Health and Wellness.

Our Goal

Our goal is to facilitate tikkun olam (fixing the world) opportunities for volunteers of all ages – from our youngest ECC snack bag makers, to our teen and adult volunteers (and everyone in between!). At all ages and stages, our volunteers are invested in learning, in doing, and in creating a better world. We are a hub for volunteers and tikkun olam (healing the world), serving a network of collaborators and partner organizations.

We are here to match passion with purpose, and commitment to cause. Join us!
