Note: If you got here from manikamanila, please add dollground instead, thanks!

This journal primarily contains:
-Anime ramblings.
-yaoi fangirling.
-General fangirling/squeeing.
-RP-related ramblings (currently playing in: mit_society).
-Vocaloid/music pimping (inc. fancovers and choruses).
-Real life rambling/random musing.
-Tons of emo and whining.

Special Notes:
-I am a BIG yaoi fangirl. If you hate yaoi, you should probably stay away.
-I am fine with het, just don't expect me to squee over it with you.
-If you're in the games discedo or kannagara, I will likely skip through entries mentioning these games to avoid bringing up bad memories for myself.
-The same goes for entries containing the KHR pairing 6927. I will not bash this pairing in my journal, but I refuse to look at anything of it.
-Please don't ask/start wank about the above two, thanks.
-And finally, be prepared for LOTS of embedded youtube videos if you add me. And possible earbleed from my singing.xD

My cousin's family loves traveling. Last May, me, my sister and nephew went with them on an outing to Caramoan. It was my first time to go island hopping, snorkeling, kayaking and wakeboarding. The islands were beautiful and totally worth getting an awful tan and not having internet access for four days straight, lol.

My cousin never forgets her camera when they go on trips. She sucks at posting pictures though. About a week ago, she came to visit my mom with my grandmother and aunt. (Which worried me a lot since they wouldn't visit unless mom was really sick...) Out of the blue, she whips out her camera and asks me if I want to post our pictures for her. They won't be posted until next year if I don't, she said. Lol. So I did. Here are some of them~:

Cut towards paradiseCollapse )

More pics here~.

*giggles*

So Mom will more than likely flip when she sees my billing statement, but I bought a voucher for an annual membership at a shooting range. Yesterday during lunch, I was talking to one of my officemates about bringing us to this range she often goes to. We agreed on a date (the 20th) but then she found a good (discounted) deal for a different one. Originally priced at Php2500 (around 60USD), and offered for Php750 (18USD), how could I possibly resist?^^;

It won't be my first time to fire a gun (I had Firearms ID for my Bachelor's thesis), but I'm excited nonetheless. I checked out their available firearms and there's what looks like a 38 caliber revolver. Unlikely to be a S&W, but close enough, I guess!xD

Aside from that, this month's bill will also contain a literally sweet deal I purchased a few weeks ago with some of my BJD friends-- unlimited cakes and coffee for Php200(5USD)!♥ Ah, credit cards really are evil!

I paid off my share for our lodging at HK yesterday: 136.31USD for 5 nights and 4 days. That's...not too bad, right? I've never paid the rent for anything anywhere ever, so I'm not really sure. Everyone else seemed to think it was a fair price though, and we are staying there for quite awhile. Still, the growing expense list is starting to shake me up a bit. And this is just to Hong Kong. Will I need to save up for half a year just to stay a week or two in a hotel in Canada, or the US?~_~

I wonder how my officemates manage their money to be able travel so much, and how they don't suffer from spending-guilt afterwards. Maybe I'll understand why people like to travel so much after my trip. Hopefully.=/a

Oh, and a Belated Happy Birthday to [personal profile] jenniebart!! Sorry, I missed it.^_^; Someday, darling, we will meet each other IRL at Anime North. This HK trip is part of my battle plan to get a VISA for it!

Edit: I just found out about the results of mom's biopsy. She doesn't have cancer, but she does have an infection in her matris(uterus?). The doctor gave her a suppository and hopefully it'll clear up soon. The bleeding last Tuesday was just some post-surgery stuff. I'm so relieved she's OK.

TMI WARNING!! Please skip to next paragraph. My period's finally here, hooray~!\o/ ...OK, I know that sounds weird but the week before my period is always the worst so I know the worst is over once I get my menstrual cramps (OW). Some little stuff made me cry last night but this week's looking good so far.♥

Mom had a biopsy last Friday for cancer. My last entry included stuff about it (arranging insurance is a pain in the ass!) but I deleted it 'cause I felt guilty, 'cause Mom said not to tell people (and I've told quite a few). Now that she's more or less in the clear though (something about the doctor only finding fluids where there's supposed to be blood), it seems like everyone's being told she's OK. The surgery and overnight stay racked up a bill of nearly 500USD (the doctor chose not to be paid 'cause she's a family friend), and I missed a doll meet last Saturday that I'd been really looking forward to, but I'm so, so happy she's OK. I was so scared./)_(\

Anyway~

I got my first ever credit card billing statement last Saturday!\o/ Ahaha, I know shouldn't be this happy.orz But I went down to the bank around two hours ago and paid it off--with my own money!-- and wheee~~ I feel like such an adult!! A silly one, BUT AN ADULT~!

...and then a few minutes after I got back to the office, an LBC delivery guy gave me this:

/squee.^//^

Yeah, that sounds awful. And I feel really guilty! But...guuuh.

Our CEO came to visit from Colorado this week, and last Wednesday we had company lunch at Yakimix, an eat-all-you-can Japanese/Korean/Chinese restaurant.

Last Thursday we had dinner at DAD'S, an...I don't even know how many kinds of cuisine there was. Buffet of over 200 items.

When my supervisor ordered Pancit Malabon yesterday for her birthday treat, I felt like puking. Seriously. My lower back was aching the whole day and mom said I probably slept the wrong way, but I swear it's my bulging stomach pressing against my spine or something.

Eat-all-you-can's. Combine the hefty price per head with a buffet of interesting and delicious-looking dishes and I apparently turn into a monster."orz

(Or maybe it was peer pressure. I don't remember being that full when I ate at Yakimix with my family, or that time at Sonya's Garden...)

Last Monday I had dinner at Little Tokyo with SIGIL and this coming Thursday I'll be hanging at the mall with Nikki. Next Saturday I'll be going to a doll meet. All this eating out...I definitely need to start watching my money. And my weight.

Edit: So I guess what I'm really lamenting is, all this eating has robbed me one of the joys of life--the joy of eating. No one's fault but my own for having no control but please! I want to enjoy food again.;_;

I spent the whole day doing a marathon of the series and I've already caught up! Oh god, I looove Akise so much.♥ I'll admit I started getting a little bored/impatient around episode 6, but I'm so glad I hanged on for him. He is very much as ghei as I'd been expecting, but also very, very cool. The smart level-headed kind of cool who can also overpower someone who has him pinned to the floor and holding a knife-- with said someone being the yandere girl most of the cast (and fans) consider inhuman because of her fighting ability.xD I love him so much.♥

But yes, let screencaps speak for me of his gheiness. He had me grinning, giggling and fangirling not even a minute into his first speaking scene:

Awesome introductionCollapse )

Akise Aru. Love him so much.♥
