Wed, 17:11: So. My dad went in for more tests today. The results were more or less what we were hoping for, so it isn’t the end yet. Just the same, the cancer is aggressive. I think he has one more test before he can begin treatment. Just the same, he will need surgery and radiation.
Wed, 20:54: One of the reasons the Great Lakes has so much fresh water is not all that many people live here compared to the rest of the world. If climate refugees started moving here from the rest of the world, the cost of living would REALLY get bad and we wouldn’t have as much fresh water
Wed, 20:59: Transit in New York City is a case of induced demand. You could add more trains and add more subways and people would just take the trains or the subways more and things would STILL be crowded like never before. The problem is New York City is just too big to be sustainable.
