Was up insanely early, not long after 5 to be exact. I guess that's what happens when you stay up for so long, and then go to bed early in the evening.
Got to chat to dad for a bit, which was nice. Got out of the hotel by about 9, and I headed off to Paddington station to get myself an Oyster Card, and jump on a train to Wood Lane. While there I of course went and had a squiz around the BBC, and went to the massive Westfield there. Suprisingly I managed to get through almost half of my lebanese wrap thing that I was having for lunch before removing the tomato and pickled cucumber from the rest of it.
Managed to get a cute umbrella for just £10 from New Look too.
After Westfield, I decided to catch a train from White City to Notting Hill Gate so I could jump on the circle line, but alas, NHG underground is closed this weekend so I ended up staying on the central line up until Bank-Monument. Jumped out there, where they have the longest escaltors I have ever seen, and got up to street level only to find a crowd of people hanging around to check out the London Lord Mayor's Show. So that was an experience I never knew I was going to have. Only saw a bit of it, because I wanted to go check out London Wall. Although however, on the way up there it started to rain, and get windy, so since I was now increibly cold, I opted to just walk back down to Bank-Monument, even though I was up near Moorgate, and caught the circle back to Edgeware Rd. I jumped out there instead of Paddington so I could stop at Tescos on the way though.
Now I have candy, chocolate, chips, and pot noodles to eat for dinner with a spoon.
Watched Merlin at 6. It was delightful.
And really that was it for me today. :)
No definate plans for tomorrow yet. Am supposed to be catching up with a friend, not sure where I will meet him. May just head down towards the Victoria & Albert Museum through Hyde Park, and see where the day takes me.

That's all I have right now, because I've been awake for at least 45 hours and I really need sleep. Bye!

So I have managed to survive that first leg. I'm sitting here in Changi airport in Singapore typing this up, watching the rain come in, and seriously hoping it doesn't get bad in the next 2 hours. It's a very grey day here.
Was still dark when the plane flew in so we could see the whole city lit up. Made out the wheel straight away of course, and thus most of the F1 track. Speaking of F1 there is a Ferrari store here. I would have bought something but everything seems a little overpriced to me. I really didn't want to pay $29S for a mouse pad.
Had a shower in the transit lounge's lovely shower area, so that woke me up. I failed to get any sleep on the plane, thanks to my inability to sleep anywhere but whilst lying down. Doubt I will get any sleep today too since I have scored myself a window seat.
Food was a bit iffy too. Hopefully today's will be better.
Did get Night At The Museum 2 finished though, which was good, since we were half way through when we had to go to the airport last night. Also, watched Planet of the Dead, obviously, and bawled quite a bit in The Time Traveler's Wife. Awesme film kids, see it. Bana love right now.
Can't think of much else of importance right now, so I guess this is so long until I hit the UK!

Well, the big day has finally arrived.
As has my first proper blog post. Although, clearly I got lazy so, don't look at the side or the bottom of the blog page, I didn't get around to finish coding it quite how I wanted. Or ship the files over so I could do something about that later.
Anyway, as I hide in Kat & Anni's rumpus room, typing this I think it is finally dawning on me just what is about to happen. I'm finally starting to freak out just a little bit, which is good, because I was worried that since I hadn't done any freaking out yet that there was possibly something wrong with me.
Still got a few last minute things to get today, and unfortunately it looks like a sunny day out, so Annika and I are likely to die from heat exhaustion walking up to the shops, so who knows, maybe I won't make it to England after all.
I will endeavour to update this blog as much as possible with serious entries. Hopefully once a day.
For those of you I have already met, I'll miss you, and can't wait to see you again. For those of you I'm yet to meet, I'm glad we have finally been given the opportunity to do so.

Side note. I'm glad I spent a serious amount of time and effort into coding a blog before I left, a blog that was working and now is not, and I have no access to fix it up. What a fun life I lead. Oh well, I guess you can't go on an adventure like this without a few things going wrong, can you?
