Surviving the drought
nature calls its shots
The darkest mud
producing a beautiful foliage
Seeping in
sprouting flowers
Message of courage
waterlilies in the desert
Blooming unlikely
unexpectedly
Like those moments
when you kiss me softly.

I don’t know what’s in this picture
suddenly i’m a voyeur
in the stairs of my life
while i’m in the middle of their aisle
and if a picture
speaks a thousand words
then why am i
speechless?
Is it because
i can’t watch them leave
when i’m caught
playing with fire
or perhaps because
i’m clueless why
we can’t love
two people at the same time?

Walking in the mall,
i saw his brother
Suddenly i remember
a song on the radio
sung by joey albert
and the lines i can’t forget
good thing there’s no regret
the feeling when it’s gone
buried in the sand
but why is it i still remember
the kiss he gave me
last september?
