because all the cool a-day comms are doing it now. and I'm a sheep. Baa.

1. All offensive and/or anti-Shin Se Kyung comment threads will be frozen. Her name need not be on the comment for it to count; which means that this includes all the insinuating comments.

First comment of this nature will merit a warning and the second will result in a ban. Effective immediately.

2. This may be a Jongkey community, but absolutely no bashing, attacking, wank, offensive comments, complaints, and the like about other pairings (whether they are in SHINee or not) in the comments.

3. There have been a lot of depressing-bordering-on-whiny comments after the news came out. Jonghyun and Key are best friends--it's why this community was started anyway, as a testament to their friendship and a place to fangirl their excessive skinship. jongkeyaday is a happy place. The friendship between Jonghyun and Key is real. Let's all just be happy about that.

We hope you won't feel restricted by these new rules. There is a time and place for everything, and this community is not the place for hateful and whiny comments about either of the idols' personal lives. With that said, thank you all for your support for jongkeyaday.

These are going to be around for a while--I feel like gauging my eyes out when I see CSS and HTML tables. ~~This is why it takes ages for this comm to change profile and site layouts orz I'M SORRY T_T~~

The new header is a gif, so please tell me if it's not working for your browser. INDECISIVENESS HAS ITS PERKS (I couldn't decide which one of the two headers to use so I used them both XD) Same if you encounter any problems when you're on the site. Thank you! ♥

attention, please!

So. You all might be wondering where everyone has gone to, and why there hasn’t been a trace of activity in over a week. The Jongkey-A-Day community has been lacking activity since the end of March, due to some of our moderators going awol,

taipi_sakura being on vacation, the lovely co-maintainer, Jecca, going on a trip and not being able to access the internet, and personal health issues of my own. Unfortunately, one of our moderators ,

theutopia will no longer be able to post every Wednesday, and quit the team.

For all the jongkey-less inconvenience, and, perhaps, confusion, we sincerely apologize.

I have been working diligently on cleaning up and updating the community: we have a new, temporary layout (with an atrocious header and color palate designed by me), the CREDITS are being worked on and updated, and the community info is being updated. Also, look forward to the community Photobucket Gallery.

I hope, with the rest of the team, to improve the community in appearance (because I’m so OCD and things irk me to death easily. Minimalism and organization = ♥) and activity of the staff.

Speaking of which, there are two openings for moderator positions; one should be able to post every Wednesday, and one should be able to post every Monday (as my Mondays will now be consumed with SAT prep classes, guitar lessons, volunteering at the local orphanage, and regular homework.) If interested, please comment in this post! :D

Okay, so now that all the serious mod business is over,
