Hi, the name's Sam(antha) & I'm a dork to the max & I'll be the first to admit my maddening love for chocolate that I entirely blame on Remus John Lupin (yes, I blame fictional characters for my continual consumption of chocolate-y goodness.) & while I've always loved chocolate before - it's just gotten worse since PoA. 21. Currently in college, majoring in cinema, exciting exciting (sarcasm? perhaps.). Oh, & how can I forget, unashamedly awkward. i tend to find humour in things that most people don't. i also tend to spell things the british way - even though i'm from california. if there's something i hold above most things, it'd be my love for music - the major constant in my life. grew up playing piano, spent some odd years playing trombone, spent most of my childhood years yearning to learn guitar - that is, until i started to learn in like 7th grade. became instrumentally lonely during my year in san francisco - so i picked up ukulele. music makes me feel content. I'm happy with who i am, even if I want to change. if there's a group of people i'd love to surround myself with, it'd be artsy, intelligent and creative people. they make me want to try harder & create things - videos, music, anything. i'd love to be in a band & rock out on my ukulele & maybe the accordion - that is, if I ever learn how to play it. i'm sure i cuss more than i probably should, but i'm just so used to it, the occasional fuck just slips out. i use sarcasm as a tool for defense. i've never been that fantastic with words, despite what some people say. i'm the type of person who doesn't want to say the wrong things so i don't give off the wrong impression. but i won't change the kind of person i am to accommodate anyone's opinion of me. i just want to do something i love.
