The blog section of this website documents art making going back to 2007. I’ve made hundreds of dioramas, and there are thousands of photos on this site. The main focus of my art is drawing, which is applied to dioramas and animation.

I have participated in many exhibitions.

Altoids
I find hinged boxes to be irresistible for making tiny theatrical scenes with cut paper – especially Altoid tins. Recurring themes include Crime Scenes, Insomnia Haiku, and postcards from the Land of the Dead.

Watches
Small little rooms with their own windows, old watches are ideal containers for wearable dioramas. Two primary projects include the on-going A Persistence of Memory, and Aabecedarian projects.

Keychain Viewers
These wonderful little boxes come with their own magnification. An example series is the first Aabecedarian project.

Spoons
The most versatile of of cutlery, these implements also make good dioramas.

Drawings
I make large scale drawings on Tyvek, often for site specific installations.

My animations can be viewed on their own website.
