Community Spotlights
The Tetons have no shortage of Nordic and winter trails enthusiasts.
Community spotlights are a window into the hearts and minds of some of the people in our region who have inspired us along the way.
We are a Winter Trails Alliance
We are a collaboration of Nordic and winter trails enthusiasts—individuals, organizations, businesses and public land agencies—who love skiing and playing outside in winter. The Jackson Hole Nordic Alliance exists to connect people to Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park and Teton Valley’s extensive Nordic and winter trails and resources. We began with Nordic and we embrace fat biking, snowshoeing, and other human-powered, sustainable winter trails activities. Our goal is to inform, educate, and inspire our winter trails enthusiasts—both community and visitors—to get outside and enjoy winter trails responsibly.

From board members to roving ambassadors to greeters at our annual free ski, fat bike and snowshoe event at Turpin Meadow Ranch, we'd love to have your help. Prerequisites are straightforward: a passion for being out under your own power on winter trails and a desire to help other people experience delight, because we all need more delight. Donate
From the very beginning, our goal has been to help everyone get outside and experience more winter. All of our resources and events are offered free of charge to the public. However, there are costs and substantial workload to provide information on miles and miles of trails, maintain this robust online resource and sustain a winter trails community. If you have the ability to contribute funds, we would love your support.
