JFritz is a free, open-source call monitor and contact manager for AVM FRITZ!Box telephony devices, developed by the JFritz Team. Built in Java, it runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. JFritz connects to your FRITZ!Box to monitor incoming and outgoing calls in real time, display caller details through configurable reverse number lookups, and show desktop notifications so you can see who’s calling at a glance.
The application maintains a local address book, lets you merge or enrich contacts with data from online directories, and keeps a searchable, filterable call history. You can add notes to calls, tidy up numbers with automatic formatting and area-code handling, and export or import data for backup or migration. JFritz also supports click-to-dial from your computer via the FRITZ!Box, making it easier to place calls from your desktop.
Designed with privacy in mind, JFritz stores your data locally and lets you choose which online lookup services to use.
