Silence is Golden, duct-tape is Silver

"I'm not Crazy. I'm psycotic. There's a difference."

"when you're blue, a good friend will ask what's wrong. A true friend will try to dislodge what's chocking you."

"A good friend will keep you secrets when you ask them too. A true friend will keep their mouths shut without you asking them."

"There's nothing that can't be fixed with: duct tape, chocolate, or by running it over."

"My attention span is just short enough to annoy you and ignore you all at the same time."

I'm awesome. Agree or die.

"You know you're crazy when you know the Men in white by name."

"An essay is an attempt to explain something that could have been said in two sentences"

"Life isn't passing me by. It's trying to run me over."

I've started Uni! Its official, I am now a freshman at Teesside University and studying forensic biology. Didn't enjoy the 6.30 wake-up call, but in order to get the bus that drops me off right outside uni (rather than live in dorms) I have to be in the market at 8am.
Everything's been updated so some of the buildings have changed names; not helpful to someone with a bad sense of direction. The people seem friendly enough, made two friends today (well, I hope I can call them friends, consideringh we only met yesterday), Ashleigh and Kelly. The SU is still outside handing out flyers for boozy nights...

Stomach's growling, hope there is something I like on the free lunch!

Eurovision last Saturday. Not a good batch as a whole, but a few good songs. My favourite was Dum Tek Tek by Turkey and my Dad (surprisingly enough) liked the rapper-ish Finnish entry Lose Control. He said the dancing of the French contestant was as sexy as a bag of crisps and the bloke who writes about what's on tv called her a bint... Hated the Norwegan entry, surprised it won, was digusted that my own UK gave it dix pointes and thought that's never going on  my iPod.
Was quite pleased that we actually came off the bottom of the scoreboard, a miracle considering Eastern block was still voting for its neighbours (I could actually predict with some accuracy whi would end up with 8, 10 or 12 pts). Graham Norton was rather amusing, and good considering he had some pretty bigs shoes to fill belonging to Terry Wogan.
The interval act... semi-naked women flailing around on wet perspex... weird.. need I say more?
Lets hope that we do even better next year.
