Web design can feel overwhelming, especially when your business has outgrown your DIY site. You know you’re ready for something more polished, more strategic – and more you. That’s where I come in.

I’m Melissa, the founder, designer, and creative heart behind Jelly Design Studio – a Miami-based (but nationwide) web design studio building beautiful, functional websites for small businesses and solopreneurs who want a digital home that feels aligned with their brand and helps them grow with clarity and confidence.

This isn’t just design. It’s clarity, strategy, and creative partnership.

How It Started: A WordPress Book And A Big Leap

Back in 2012, I was running a small business selling wedding invitations – and needed a website. I picked up a book on WordPress (yes, really), taught myself the basics, and built my first website.

It wasn’t long before friends started asking for help with theirs.

What started as a favor turned into a calling. I realized how many small business owners felt left behind by the design world – stuck between cookie-cutter templates or confusing agencies. In 2013, with Nick’s encouragement, I left my cubicle job behind and took the leap to launch Jelly Design Studio.

Since then, I’ve spent over a decade designing custom websites for fitness studios, creative entrepreneurs, authors, doulas, online boutiques – and many more inspiring brands.
