People who enter the Witness Protection Program have to change their names. If you were in that situation, which new name would you choose?
Bannakaffalatta!

...I also like the name Zoe.

What was your favorite movie when you were a kid? Is it still your favorite now that you're older?
The Princess Bride. I have an unexplainable love for that film. Still do.

What's the best compliment you've ever received?
When I was a PA on the set for Misconceptions, I was in the actors' trailer getting make-upped by our fantastic make up artist, because I was going to be in one of the scenes, and Sarah Carter, who was the supporting female, told me she loved my smile, that it was the most sincere smile she'd ever seen. It was nice. :)

Hi, I'm new to the community and Pushing Daisies, and I've realized that after only two episodes that it is AMAZING.

So, with that in mind, is there anywhere where I can watch season 1 online so that I can watch it before I watch the new episodes and try to keep it on the air (since I hear that it might be cancelled)?

Thanks in advance!

So, apparently the EPA is now refusing to allow access to a study about the pesticide Clothianidin and colony collapse disorder among bees.

Here's the link to the article: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/08/18/BAKR12DBPO.DTL

Basically the pesticide has been linked to colony collapse disorder in France & Germany, but the EPA approved it. If its safe enough to approve for use in the US, you'd think they'd have nothing to hide about the bee study. But when the Natural Resources Defense Council asks to see the study, the EPA just ignores them. Now they're filing a law suit under the Freedom of Information Act. Damn straight.

It's really ridiculous that we can't rely even on our own Environmental Protection Agency to do the right thing any more -- how much money do you think they're getting from agri-business and Bayer CropScience?

Just thought I'd share this for any X-Files fans out there...episode 2x10, Red Museum has quite bit of social commentary on how meat is raised in the US (with an X-Files spin of course). But it does get into a little discussion about the chemicals injected into cattle raised for their meat. Just thought it was an interesting look at what a liberal use of chemicals in meat could potentially do.

Unfortunately I couldn't find it online, but SciFi & FX play reruns all the time.

I don't know how McD's can even come close to saying that they're a leader in environmental conservation when they're fueling the factory farming industry like they are. This article discusses the styrofoam cups they use, but I think there are way bigger issues at hand when it comes to McD's and their environmental impacts. How about the air & water pollution generated from the factory farms? and the animal abuse? Not to mention how bad their food is for your health. Jeez.

Not only are oil companies continuing to make record-breaking profits, they are also cutting down the Boreal forest.
Yeah, that's definitely the solution. Destroy a huge carbon sink and create more CO2 while you do it. Great plan, guys.
