To think of geological time, the time of the sliding stones, the time of the lithosphere, the time of the continents is to think of our fleeting transience. Perhaps it is with this thought that we can evade the madness of human depletion of the Earth, marvel at its mighty fragility, appreciate the countless entities that shaped it in the volatile space and aeons of time.
Bibaret (2020)
In Bibaret JC210120 we listened to the world of small animals, the invertebrates such as insects, spiders, bugs, and used these sounds to uncover the social, scientific and artistic views of this crucial and vulnerable group of animals.
ICEmeltingsFM (2019)
Sound artists unhinge the acoustics of icy winter landscapes, of their gradual or sudden mutations. Based on a sound composition, the artists perform and improvise a live group session, using various approaches to the creation and selection of sounds from the changing nature.
Winter Exor:cism (2018)
With a powerful flux of sonic signals of various frequencies, forms and intensities, sound artists Amper-o-mat, beepblip, OR poiesis, Boštjan Perovšek, Bojana Šaljič Podešva, Brane Zorman helped drive winter away, melt the ice, sow the seeds and raise our glasses at the 10th anniversary of radioCona. The wine ran out in November, the chestnuts rotted away in December, but we had carnival doughnuts and cake to tie us over through the night.
