On Saturday I ventured into the wonderful world of pizza delivery.
Actually, it wasn't too bad. It was actually kind of fun. It was followed by what I hear was the busiest Sunday night the store has seen in years. I made lots of money, but it wasn't so much fun as "OMFG make it stop!"
I got lost trying to find a house on Dixon Road in Culpeper. Apparently the house I was looking for had a big pond out front and a garage to the side. Since that part of town is allergic to streetlights, I would have been lucky to brake if a herd of cattle had been wandering across the road.
We have almost ... but not quite ... made rent. It was due no later than the 5th of the month, but we weren't even close. We got some help from the church, in the form of a check, which I deposited in my bank account on Monday ... not realizing that Monday was a holiday for anybody who works for the government or a bank. The check has not yet cleared but should be through by tomorrow morning.
I spent a good part of today learning exactly how many ways my bank has to say, "There's not a damn thing we can do about your deposit, and we're not going to allow you to overdraw your account to buy money orders to pay rent, and we really, really don't care if you could get evicted over this. It's not our problem."
That's okay, they won't be my bank for much longer.
And for my next trick, my latest crop of bills exceeds my pay from AHC. Fortunately, there's more money coming in now, and it should all balance out.
I have an awesome (practically awe-inspiring) family, and as rough as things are now, I know things are getting better. I just don't want another month like this for a very long time.

Is there ALWAYS someone in a coma on this show?
Do the writers sit around and say:
"Okay, we can't put Joe in a coma this week ... we just did him in July, And Tanya's out, we're saving her coma for sweeps week. What about Natasha? Should we put Natasha in a coma this time? Because Sarah's almost out of hers, and we only have two more days to put someone else in the hospital."

Yes, I'm rude! A complete knee-biter!
People have refused to game with me because I've been so incredibly rude and offensive to people!
Clearly, these are people who know me well.
