You learn a lot about a place when you tell its stories for decades. For more than 30 years, Central Pennsylvanians have relied on Janelle to tell the truth, trusted her to shine a light on our problems, and counted on her to get answers and hold the powerful accountable. Whether she was with small business owners, riding along with local law enforcement, or covering the rising costs of housing and healthcare, Janelle has been listening and telling the stories of countless families across the district. She has heard over and over how people in Central Pennsylvania are sick and tired of career politicians who have been ignoring them and their problems.
Janelle will fight for Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, and a woman’s right to choose. She will work with Republicans & Democrats to lower costs, invest in small businesses and family farms, and ensure we have access to affordable housing and child care. She supports term limits, banning members of Congress from insider stock trading and prohibiting members of Congress from becoming lobbyists when they retire, exploiting their former relationships.
Janelle is not a politician. If you are looking for someone who will listen to you, who will work for real solutions, who will fight for term limits, and who will sit down with anyone who has a good idea about how to make life better for all of us in Central Pennsylvania, then support Janelle Stelson.
His focus is helping himself, not the people of Central Pennsylvania. Scott Perry voted to gut Medicaid and slash food assistance, all to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. He supports the tariff-taxes that are raising prices in Central Pennsylvania. Perry supports a national abortion ban with no exceptions, touted a plan to cut Social Security benefits and raise Social Security taxes, opposed the largest expansion of VA benefits in history, and played a central role in the plot to overturn the results of the 2020 election— including the deadly January 6th insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, for which he sought a Presidential pardon.
As a non-partisan trusted voice, Janelle Stelson has spent her career listening and addressing the concerns of this district. Janelle will stand up to business as usual in Washington and be the new voice and fresh leadership that we need.
‘I never, ever thought that we’d be paying this much for health care, never,’ said Carol Shaw, a York County resident who lives in Perry’s district. Carol Shaw began saving for retirement immediately after finishing her undergraduate degree. For years, she and her husband, Tom, diligently put money away for the day when the York […]

The former WGAL News 8 anchorwoman said Tuesday […]
Tom and Carol Shaw are both 63. Tom is retired – he worked for 16 years for Capitol Blue Cross – and Carol teaches project management, part-time, at Harrisburg University. They live in a comfortable home on a cul-de-sac near Lewisberry, where they received the occasional visit from wild turkeys or songbirds who knock on the back door. […]
Passing a Farm Bill and rolling back tariffs are among congressional candidate Janelle Stelson’s top goals on rural policy. Stelson, a Democrat and former TV news reporter, is running for Congress for a second time in Pennsylvania’s 10th Congressional District, which includes Dauphin County and parts of Cumberland and York counties. “We deserve a member […]
Harrisburg-area Rep. Scott Perry was not among the handful of Republicans who sided with Democrats on Thursday’s Affordable Care Act vote, as the issue starts to shape up as the first big dividing line in Congress for the new year. The U.S. House of Representatives voted Thursday afternoon in favor of a three-year extension of […]

Veterans throughout the nation are condemning Republican U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-Pa.) for insulting their sacrifice and service to this country. Many are demanding an apology. They have reason to do so. Speaking on the Chris Stigall podcast that was beamed throughout the world, Perry actually accused his fellow veterans who are Democrats of “hating the military.” […]
Janelle Stelson made an early campaign stop in Harrisburg on Wednesday, pointing to one of the Democrats’ likely focus points for 2026 — that a Trump-induced economic slowdown could help motivate Black voters that the party has historically struggled to reach, at least in central Pennsylvania. Stelson — who has already been endorsed by Democratic […]
