Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals

OBAP

Founded in 1976, the Organization of Black Aerospace Professionals is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of minorities in all aviation and aerospace careers.

OBAP members encourage diversity in the industry by supporting aspiring aviation professionals through Project Aerospace, a series of scholarships, mentoring, training, and youth-focused education programs.

Children's Immigration Law Academy

CILA

The Children’s Immigration Law Academy (CILA) is an expert legal resource center created by the American Bar Association (ABA). CILA’s mission is to empower champions for unaccompanied children, advocates who guide children through complex legal procedures, to do so with courage, competency, compassion, and creativity. CILA builds capacity for those working to advance the rights of children seeking protection through trainings, technical assistance, resource development, and collaboration.

Texas Immigration Law Council

TxILC

The Texas Immigration Law Council was founded in 2023 after a advisory group of 14 nonprofit leaders and grant makers came together and recognized that there was a missing element in the state’s immigrant justice ecosystem: a nonpartisan Center that could serve as a statewide base to make new, expert resources available to immigration legal service providers and for coordinating public policy work.

ABA ProBAR

The South Texas Pro Bono Asylum Representation Project (ProBAR) empowers immigrants and asylum-seekers through high-quality legal information, representation, and connections to services. ProBAR serves immigrants and asylum-seekers in the Rio Grande Valley border region and Houston, Texas.
