***ALL PLAYERS MUST USE AN ACTIVE GOLFZON GLOBAL ACCOUNT IN ORDER TO PLAY IN THE LEAGUE***

**ALL ROUNDS MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL, EVEN IF THE MATCH IS DETERMINED BEFORE THE FINAL HOLE. FAILURE TO COMPLETE ALL 9 HOLES WILL RESULT IN DOUBLE PAR FOR ANY UNFINISHED HOLE**

Rounds begin Monday at 12am and end Sunday at 11:59pm each week. We ask that you try your best to schedule your match in person against the opposing team that week, however you are allowed to play your round separately. Your round should be played with your teammate if you are a member-member team, and must be played with your teammate if you are a member-guest team.

Official League Format & Rules

 League Timeline

• Start Date: JANUARY 26, 2026
• End Date: MARCH 30, 2026
• Length: 10 weeks of match play competition

 League Format

• Team Format: 2-person teams
• Match Type: Best-Ball Match Play over 9 holes
• Scoring System:
  • 1 point awarded per hole
    • Win = 1 point
    • Push = 0.5 point
    • Loss = 0 points
  • 1 bonus point awarded for overall match win
    • (If match is tied, each team receives 0.5 match points)
• All teams play head-to-head each week against a scheduled opponent

 Handicap System

• GOLFZON Handicap Required
• Players must have an active GOLFZON account
• Handicap is automatically applied during match play
• Players must log into GOLFZON Global account in order to enter
• 80% handicap applied, maximum 12 team strokes per matchup, 15% reduction in higher handicap for any team spread greater than 8 strokes. 

 Fees & Eligibility

• $150 per Member
• $300 per Guest
  • Guests must register with a member
  • Hourly guest simulator fees also apply: $20/hr

• OPTIONAL: Proxy Package – $200 per team. Pays out Closest To The Pin, Longest drive, Low Net Team, Hole-in-one, and Skins. All prizes awarded (including skins) will be split by the number of participants that week. 

 Team Structure

• Teams can consist of:
  • Member + Member
  • Member + Guest
• Substitutions  allowed
• Guests must accompany members for every match (ie cannot come as a guest with another member for league round, if partner is unavailable)

 Match Schedule & Weekly Play Window

• Each week’s match must be completed by the following Monday at 11:59 PM
• We highly encourage playing head-to-head with your opponents, but:
  • If schedules conflict, you may each play on your own time

 Gameplay Rules

• All matches are played on designated courses each week
• Players must complete all 9 holes, even if the match outcome is decided early
  • Incomplete rounds will result in a score of double par being entered for every hole left incomplete
• Match password will be provided weekly via league communications

 Scoring Summary

• Points are accumulated each week based on:
  • Total holes won (1 point each hole won, 0.5 points each hole tied, 0 points each hole lost)
  • 1 additional point for winning the full match
  • 0.5 additional points for each team in the event of a push
• Standings will reflect weekly match results and cumulative points

 Communication & Scheduling

• League admins will provide weekly contact info for each opponent
• Teams are responsible for scheduling their matches with each other
• Weekly reminders, codes, and updates will be sent via email and posted in the facility
