A Jointed Minnow That Keeps Enticing Underwater Rather than simply separating the body to create a joint, a tapered cut has been adopted that takes into account the lure’s underwater posture and the range of motion of both the back and belly through its wobble & roll action. This design generates a twisted motion while significantly reducing the line tangling of the tail hook, a common issue with jointed minnows. The tail itself is equipped with a tail-end cup that actively grabs water, giving purposeful movement to what used to be a free-swinging section in conventional jointed minnows. By capturing water, the tail produces subtle fluttering on the fall and while paused, as well as quick responses to angler input. Combined with the strong flash and water displacement of its flat-sided body, this expands the lure’s range of appeal even further.
