This is not good, people!!!

IT IS so hard to keep up with everything while I'm at uni:O LJ isn't a priority and I'm not that much online really.
Anyway, it's great:P
I'll see how things develop with LJ, and let me no;) Don't delete me yet!!
*HUGS*

I am in Scotland! And have been here for over a week.
The most beautiful campus, interesting people, mostly good people, one stalker, actually many Norwegians, and lots of work too(Scottish History - what was I thinking?!). I love French though, and English studies are very good too. Nice uni:)
OK... fast, short entry...
Have a nice day: )

I'm leaving for Scotland - tomorrow!
I am not nervous, which kind of surprises me. Just hope that I will get picked up(it is a picking up service by the Uni.) at Glasgow Airport. I may have to wait for 3 hours, that'll be boring. Perhaps I don't. We'll see.
It is really strange saying goodbye to everyone, though. Had a goodbye dinner last night with some friends, and 2 of my best friends are coming tonight, to say goodbye(they haven't spoken in a year, and don't know the other is coming so that'll be entertaining!). And I'm meeting up with a very good friend in Oslo so jippi... ;)
By the way - prepare for a small HIATUS since I don't know when I'll internet access when I arrive on campus, not to speak of time to update. Freshers week will be hectic, I imagine.
Take care guys, and keep me updated;)

1 week until I leave guys.
One week! That's seven days, actually it is only six days since I'll have to go during the night!
I'm waiting for a "freaking out moment" or something. I am not nervous at all yet, I just want to get paid my tuition fees now, so that'll be ok. My loan is ok and everything is ready to go - as soon as I get paid that fee thing.
Ok...
Saturday night. Waiting for my sister to bring home fast food for me, her and mummy. I think I'll go do some yoga.
Have a wonderful weekend!
-Silje-

Good evening;)
Last night I went rowing and fishing. In or 80-year-old boat (wood, of course), alone. It was just perfect. Although I didn't catch any fish it was so nature and me, all in one. I'll do it again, soon.
I've read 2 Cecilia Ahern books lately; "If You Could See Me Now" and "Where Rainbows End". I think that either you like her books or not. Obviously I did, since I read two. but I won't bother with "PS I love you", since the film was so boring.
However, these can't compare to the masterpiece written by Stieg Larson(Swedish writer, now dead). "Men who hates women" (the film is also very good) is one of the best books I have ever read, and the best crime book, if I may say so. So if you're interested in a quality reading, please read this one. It's the first of a trilogy. Amazing.
List of the day:
3 best movies I've seen this year(in random order):
1. Max Manus (Norwegian)
2. Män som hatar kvinnor/Men Who Hate Women (International: English title) (Swedish)
3. The Changeling (Am.)
(I'm also including Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince now, but I haven't really decided of how much I like it yet, so no top 3 for now!)

Hello:)
I think I always say to post more regularly on LJ; well, it never happens. The rare thing I often think about stuff that I can put down here. Like: Oh my god, that would make an excellent LJ-post open sentence. Perhaps I'll try to make my post easier. Like not that thought through. Or, less thought through, I should say.
I haven't posted o 3 weeks.
I've been up to a lot; visiting mum's relatives up north(do you know that it is 1000km drive for me?!), hiking, visiting my sister in the west of Norway, and also a friend I gained last year at school. It was so nice to see my friend again, she lives at this really special place too, with amazing nature, and it is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Norway.
While being there I got this idea; why not go there after 2 years with French (and English) studies, I'll fit right in as a guide! I'll get to practice speaking French while earning money... The guiding is done in English, French, German, Spanish, Russian,... Besides, I could probably do German too, if I don't forget everything I've learned. I was thinking I should buy Harry Potter in German, I've tried to read a German HP book, and it was fine.
However, now I've got the book list for the subjects I'm taking and I better start to read on those instead...
Which leads me to:
OMG! I'm going to Scotland next month. It is actually a month today!
Not only am I starting University, but in a foreign country, and everything that goes with it. Shit. I'll be a foreigner. Well, they are mostly exotic, aren't they? I've always loved that word.
There are so many things to prepare...! You would be surprised. Like insurance, banking, loan, all these other preparations like housing, choosing modules and so on... I still don't know if I should open a bank account over there or what.. tips?
I'm happy that I got to love in the Hall I wanted though, and the modules are safe to say that are OK.
Perhaps it's too much, but I'll be taking:
-French(of course)
-English; Author, reader, text
-Religion something (a module under English studies)
-Scottish history (a module under English studies)
-Language and society (a module under English studies)
I'm super exited!
PS: If anyone(especially if you're form the UK, *nudge nudge*) has any tips or such, please comment!

If you ever get married:
"Have only 1 glass of champagne on your wedding day,
there`s nothing as bad as a drunken bride. "

I'm going to the midnight preimiere of Harry Potter tonight, hope it'll be a blast:D
My friend went last night, got to meet Oliver and James Phelps... lucky her;)

Morning!
Today I'm going to a festival. A very good one:) With 4 other people I went to school with this past year. It'll be so nice to see them again!
I've been doing a lot of work these past days. If yo know what a silo is, you should know, really. Well, we've been harvesting and it's a lot of grass this year. That is good, but a lot of work! I am developing abs though, and it's like working out really really hard!
After the weekend and the festival I'll have loads to do. We are not entirely done with the harvest, I'll have 7,5 hours work every day at the local school(cleaning) and I'll babysit my aunts dog for 2 weeks, Bareci is a flatcoated retriver and very sweet:) I think Kaisa will find it very interesting and hopefully sh won't be too jealous.
So, if I don't post too much the 2 coming weeks, it's no wonder.
Have a very nice day <3
