Autism

Our colleagues are trained to support a wide range of diagnoses, including Autism.  We work closely with the people we support to design our support around their needs and preferences. 

At every step of the journey, we work closely with people and their loved ones to make sure that we get the relationship right.

Support For Autistic People

We specialise in supporting adults on the Autism Spectrum in personalised environments. Some people we support may also have an additional mental health needs. Through our Strive model of support, we provide a structured programme of support, and we use a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches (e.g. psycho-educational, cognitive, positive behavioural support), which are adapted to make them autism specific and individually targeted to the strengths and needs of each person.

We work closely with the people we support and their families to create a tailored support plan with support from colleagues who understand Autism.

Our Services

Many of our services are located in residential areas with a wealth of community facilities nearby; the people we support can develop strong links with local amenities and further develop such links when they leave our services.

We provide spacious, calm environments that meet the environmental needs of service users with Autism. Our services have small bed numbers, outside space and many have sensory areas. We have worked hard to maintain a homely atmosphere in our locations in which the people we support can feel safe and supported.

By locating in residential areas, the people we support are able to access a wealth of community facilities in a safe and supportive environment
