PIER Small Business Grants & Loans in Jackson County

The Illinois Valley Community Development Organization (IVCanDO) has been awarded $1.2 million to provide grants and loans for small businesses in Jackson County that were affected by the 2020 Labor Day fires.

This funding is part of the ReOregon disaster recovery initiative and comes through the Planning, Infrastructure, and Economic Revitalization (PIER) program administered by Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS).

IVCanDO will manage two key initiatives in Jackson County:

1. Microenterprise Grant Program – 2nd Round is Closed

IVCanDO’s Microenterprise Grant Program was selected by a regional committee to support economic revitalization and recovery for small businesses impacted by the Almeda and South Obenchain Fires.

The second round of applications closed on March 31, 2026. Submitted applications are currently moving through the review process.

Businesses and community members are encouraged to check back for future program updates and announcements.

2. PIER Loan Fund (Open Now)

This program offers fixed, low-interest loans to increase working capital and support credit building, helping small businesses in fire-affected areas launch or expand their operations.
