The state of Indiana’s Division of Disability, Aging and Rehabilitative Services (DDARS) supports Indiana residents with a wide variety of disabilities with community connections, employment opportunities, and more. The Randolph-Sheppard Business Enterprise Program provides entrepreneurial opportunities for legally blind clients of DDRS’ Vocational Rehabilitation Services.
The Older Independent Blind/Visually Impaired Program expands living accommodations for people who are 55 and older who have a “severe vision impairment.”
Vision Loss Support Groups are available across dozens of counties across Indiana and can allow for individuals experiencing similar situations to have a place to connect and share resources, experiences, and thoughts.
